Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Proactive Global. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and repairs of machinery and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Identify and implement improvements to production processes and equipment to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve maintenance-related issues and improve overall plant performance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
Requirements:
  • Electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications and/or apprenticeship experience.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
