We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Process Developer to join our New Product Introduction team. As a key member of our team, you will work on our next generation of wound products to make a meaningful difference for our customers.

What does the life of a Manufacturing Process Developer look like?

It's a dynamic role that involves product and process development, straddling early design concepts versus operations and manufacturing processes. You will act as an anchor, guiding early product design phases and delivering a manufacturing process that will produce our products to specification, but do so efficiently.

What will you be doing?

  • Using Lean six sigma tools to ensure the products are Designed for Manufacture (DFM)
  • Implement and Validate new manufacturing processes within the Wound Operational franchise
  • Support all Design Transfer activities for new product launches as part of embedding new products into operations and ensure we have capacity for growth
  • Work in partnership with R&D and Operations to ensure alignment with design and offer a preliminary route to manufacture

What does success look like?

Our successful candidate will be educated in a relevant engineering background, such as a B.ENG degree or Higher National Certificate.

You'll be an experienced engineer with an understanding of and passion for the manufacturing processes. Experience with NPI and supplier relationship management would be advantageous, however not crucial.

You. Unlimited
