We are seeking a highly skilled Treasury Accountant to join our team at Briggs Equipment Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing our daily cash balances, ensuring sufficient funds to cover our commitments, and completing group draw downs and transfers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily cash balances to ensure sufficient funds to cover group commitments
- Complete group draw downs and transfers
- Consolidate all entities' cash flows into a group file to determine our overall group headroom position with Wells Fargo, ensuring compliance with our ABL agreement covenant
- Perform weekly availability/loan reconciliations between Wells Fargo report and cash flow
- Reconcile daily the group ABL loan and collateral ledger to Wells Fargo portal
- Complete the monthly UK and Ireland Borrowing Base Certificate for Wells Fargo
- Onboard new entities into the UK/Ireland's online banking facility
- Assist with onboarding entities onto our ABL agreement with Wells Fargo
- Manage foreign currency requirements for the Group (Euro/Dollar)
- Complete a monthly FX and interest rate tracker
- Monthly ABL reconciliations to the general ledger and posting amortisation of fees
- Complete the monthly group funding committee reports and assist at the meetings
- Reconcile and post all associated transactions for our financial instrument hedges/FX forwards
- Lead for the external quarterly banking audit with Wells Fargo
- Cover for England and Wales treasury activities, including bank payments, daybook, posting daily payments, and reconciling the bank accounts
- Forecast future cash requirements, receipts, invoicing, and current headroom position for the group
- Monthly reconciliations for England and Wales third-party/finance agreements
- Administer all online banking across the Group
- Treasury support for the Group
- Other ad-hoc treasury duties as required
- Financial accounting experience to trial balance and management accounts level
- Significant treasury experience
- Extensive Excel experience
- Understanding of processes/accounting principles
- Experience of working in a busy finance environment
- Extensive diligent, accurate, and high-level attention to detail skills
