Teacher Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate EYFS Teacher to join our team at a highly regarded primary school in Lewisham. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality early years education and be committed to providing a rich and varied curriculum that ignites a real passion in our students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of EYFS students.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching EYFS students in a primary school setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
