Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Accounting Manager to join our team at Emerald Group Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with insurance clients to deliver solutions and value-added advice on complex accounting issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with insurance clients to deliver solutions and value-added advice on complex accounting issues, such as support on IFRS 17/9 implementation.
- Responsible for engagement planning and management on a day-to-day basis, including assessment of engagement risks, undertaking analyses, and delivering and documenting conclusions.
- Act as the day-to-day lead on client engagement, managing small teams when required.
Requirements
- Minimum criteria include a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, or CIPFA).
- Strong technical accounting experience in the insurance sector.
- Experience in technical accounting and delivery of finance change programmes for insurance companies.
What We Offer
£24,000 - £25,000 per annum + study support, hybrid working.
