Job Summary:

We are seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our team at our Newbury Depot. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for completing collection and delivery of goods while following company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Complete collection and delivery of goods while following company procedures
* Ensure goods are safely secured and paperwork is in order
* Follow company security procedures
* Keep vehicle clean at all times
* Undertake additional duties, or assist other members of staff, as may be reasonably requested by your Manager or the Directors

Requirements:

* Full UK (C+E) driving license required
* Smart appearance
* Good knowledge of the English language
* CPC, digital tachocard, and IT knowledge/understanding required
* Ability to apply knowledge and understanding to the job
* Ability to communicate effectively with the client and other members of staff in the operations and warehouse departments

Benefits:

* Mon-Fri: £18.20ph
* Mon-Fri O/T (After 8 hours): £25.44ph
* Sat: £22.89ph
* Sat O/T (After 8 hours): £25.44ph

* Opportunity to go perm after 26 weeks of service

About the Role:

This is a permanent position with the opportunity to go permanent after 26 weeks of service. The role involves working 9 to 14 hour shifts, with a minimum of 8 hours guaranteed per shift. You will be required to have held a C+E license for a minimum of 12 months, with at least 3 continuous months worth of recent work showing on your Digi Card.
