Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for shaping the business to meet compliance, governance, and process requirements in the UK, Europe, and the US.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a 13-week cash flow forecast model and reporting pack.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Oversee vendor payments and associated approvals and reporting.
- Create and interpret monthly working capital reports, communicating insights and issues to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure system records are accurate and any issues are resolved.
- Design and implement key policies and procedures, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Inventory, and Treasury.
- Prepare and file the monthly UK VAT return.
- Ensure timely submission of VAT returns in the Netherlands.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and manage business banking across multiple currencies.
- Reconcile excise duty accounts and make timely payments.
- Lead the annual audit process with a top 10 audit firm.
- Provide quarterly Board working capital reports to the CFO.
- Contribute to the accuracy and timeliness of management accounts by working with the FP&A team.
