Job Overview:

We are seeking a Parts and Materials Engineer to join our Defence client based in the UK. The ideal candidate will have expertise in components and parts, with experience in administration tasks, technical advisement, and supplier management.

The successful applicant will be part of a multi-disciplined team responsible for delivering a comprehensive component service offering. Key responsibilities include:

• Processing and responding to support queries
• Processing component data (based on Life cycle status, Export Control and REACH/RoHS compliance)
• Working within departmental processes completing administration tasks
• Support for Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical or Material commodities
• Support continuous improvement activities

The successful candidate will have an Engineering Degree or relevant experience, with proficiency in MS Office tools, Outlook, Excel, Word. A strong concern for order and quality is essential, as is the ability to deal with multiple issues, tasks and priorities concurrently. Strong communication skills are also required to facilitate communications with key stakeholders. Our estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and respond to support queries efficiently
• Manage and maintain accurate component data
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to achieve business objectives
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary
