Job Title: Residential Support Worker - Learning Disabilities

About the Role
  • Support young people in continuing hobbies, social activities, and friendships while learning new skills.
  • Assist with morning routines, including getting ready for school and preparing a nutritious breakfast.
  • Prepare evening meals and ensure a safe space for relaxation within the home.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Foster a supportive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  3. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • The ability to work independently and use your initiative when needed.
  • Holding or working towards a Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) or an equivalent qualification, such as The NVQ 3 Caring for Children & Young People.
