Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Nicholas Associates. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, manual machines, and other equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians and other team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a maintenance or engineering environment, with a strong electrical bias.
  • Experience with identification, design, and installation of improvement projects.
  • Maintenance supervision experience and ability to lead a team.
  • Experience working with or alongside heat treatment equipment.
  • Forklift truck license and IPAF license.
  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND, or an appropriate apprenticeship.

Working Hours: Mornings and afternoons, 6 am to 2 pm, 2 pm to 10 pm.
