This role is part of a forward-thinking department consisting of dietitians, dietetic assistant practitioners, and dietetic support workers valued and respected throughout the trust.
Main ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of registered dietitians, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Provide high-quality healthcare by assisting in individual and group treatment programs, demonstrating agreed levels of competency under registered dietitian direction.
- Undertake delegated clinical tasks to support the delivery of nutritional care in accordance with established guidance and care pathways.
- Participate in various non-clinical tasks to support the Dietetic Service.
- Offer effective communication and support to patients.
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Evaluate and improve patient care through evidence-based audit and projects.
