Electrical Engineering Internship Opportunity

Role Description:

Our Intern and Placement program is designed to give you a hands-on insight into the work we do as a company and help to develop skills and knowledge within your chosen field. Supported by signposted training, the program is based on Arcadis core values, giving you both technical training and support to help you develop both personally and professionally while with us.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work on real projects and clients, gaining a range of experiences to immerse yourself into over the course of your internship or placement.
  • Develop skills and knowledge in electrical engineering and automation, with a focus on sustainable design and energy-efficient systems.
  • Collaborate with our inclusive and diverse Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation team, working across a broad spectrum of UK and international projects and industrial sectors.
Requirements:
  • Accepted degrees: BEng or MEng Electrical Engineering (preferred). We will also consider applicants with degrees that contain electrical elements such as combined electrical & mechanical or electronics & electrical.
  • You will be working towards a degree in a relevant subject (Placement & Intern only).
  • You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking, and being a Team Player.
  • You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
