Finishing Operator–Competitive Salary- Deeside, Flintshire

The Role

We are seeking a Finishing Operator to join our team at DG Partnership Ltd. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operating Bobst or similar gluing machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating gluing machines, ensuring smooth production runs and meeting output and quality targets.

Please note, this is a part-time weekend role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make ready Bobst Gluing machine
  • Producing a range of carton work including straight-line crash lock and 4/6 corner
  • Starts gluing run and ensures that the process runs smoothly, achieving output and quality performance targets in line with standard operating procedures
  • Carry out planned operator maintenance
  • Working with automation, robot cells

The Person

  • Glue machine experience (Bobst/Jagenberg)
  • Understanding of Print Industry, processes and equipment
  • Manufacturing experience (essential)
  • A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making
  • Able to use own initiative and demonstrate input into continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be a confident team player
  • Good communication skills.
