About the Opportunity
This is an exciting chance to contribute to the future of Commsave Credit Union while building your expertise in governance and risk management. You will work closely with a dedicated team to monitor risk management strategies and ensure the Credit Union's Risk Register is up-to-date.
Responsibilities and Benefits
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date risk assessments and develops risk appetite statements.
- Contributes to the implementation of effective audit processes and monitors their effectiveness.
- Reports on audit and risk matters to the Board of Directors.
As a valued member of the team, you will receive a competitive salary of $80,000 per annum, plus reimbursement for travel expenses and caring requirements. Additionally, you will have opportunities for personal and professional development while making a meaningful contribution to the community. The estimated time commitment is around 30 hours per year, plus occasional events and training sessions.
