Join Our Team as a Data Engineering Coach

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineering Coach to join our team at FIND | Creating Futures. As a Coach, you will be responsible for training, coaching, and mentoring cohorts of data apprentices through their Data Engineering apprenticeship programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and mentor junior data engineers, helping them develop strong technical and problem-solving skills
  • Lead hands-on training sessions, workshops, and practical exercises, ensuring apprentices are equipped with the latest industry knowledge and best practices in data engineering
  • Help apprentices master essential data engineering concepts like ETL processes, data pipelines, cloud platforms, and database management
  • Cultivate a supportive learning environment where junior engineers can grow their skills, confidence, and careers

Requirements:

  • Commercial industry experience within Data Engineering
  • Some form of previous Coaching or Training experience (even if informal)
  • Proficiency in tools like Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
  • Excellent ability to break down complex concepts and explain them in simple terms
  • A passion for helping others grow
  • Eagerness to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £60,000 - £77,000
