Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary

Location: Salford PRU

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work one-to-one with pupils in Key Stage 3, encouraging engagement in the curriculum and school day. They will join a committed faculty, aiming to enhance progress and improve pupils' life chances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage minor disruptions in line with the unit's behaviour policies.
  • Provide detailed and knowledgeable feedback on specific pupils, contributing to their re-integration into mainstream school.
  • Assist in assessing pupils who need specialist provision, coordinating Formal Assessments to explore the needs of individual children and how these needs can be met.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with SEN required.
  • Ability to prioritise positive and trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents alike.

What We Offer:

  • £84+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees) paid weekly.
  • Full-time role Monday-Friday paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel until the end of the academic year.
  • Great opportunities thereafter through Teaching Personnel.
