Childcare Apprentice

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Childbase Partnership as an Apprentice in our Greengables Day Nursery. The successful candidate will have a natural ability to nurture and care for young children, with a strong interest in child development and learning.

This Early Years Apprenticeship will provide the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in childcare, working with children under 5 in a supportive and safe environment. The successful candidate will be part of a team that creates and maintains a stimulating and engaging learning environment, planning and implementing activities to enhance children's development.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain a range of qualifications, including a Level 2 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner and Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English. Additionally, they will receive a paediatric first aid qualification and a permanent contract upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

• Interact positively with all nursery users and work in partnership with colleagues and parents

• Official documentation to evidence national insurance number
• Access to a computer to undertake online assessment and submit coursework
• Resident in the UK for at least 3 years
