About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Work Based Learning Manager at Warwick College Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality vocational education and training programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and support students in choosing the right course of study and provide guidance on recruitment options and funding streams.
  • Work with employers to access appropriate training needs and provide support with the Apprenticeship Service and Recruit an Apprentice Service.
  • Ensure students are placed in a safe and healthy environment with access to work-based training.
  • Market and promote existing and new programs within the vocational area to meet industry needs.
  • Represent the department in promotional activities and provide student statistics and reports.
  • Mentor individual candidates and monitor their academic and vocational progress.
  • Carry out formal assessments and verification of assessments.
  • Improve the quality of provision through involvement with internal and external verification procedures.
  • Carry out formal progress reviews with Apprentices and their employers.
Requirements
  • Experience of mentoring or coaching.
  • Evidence of formal structured training.
  • A level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Assessor award A1 or equivalent.
  • Current experience or assessor activity in relevant sectors.
  • Vocational experience of working in industry and dealing with customers.
  • IT skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A driving license free of major endorsements.
