Job Title: Design And Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Systems Engineer to join our team at Click Digital. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems, working closely with our integration and testing teams to ensure seamless integration and testing of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical leadership and guidance to our integration and testing teams, ensuring that test requirements and plans are captured and executed effectively.
  2. Flow down system requirements to subsystem requirement specifications, ensuring that all design proposals take into account existing design constraints.
  3. Define and maintain design justification records, providing linkage from system requirements to subsystem requirements.
  4. Develop algorithms in firmware and software, working closely with our subsystem teams to ensure that design proposals meet all necessary requirements.
  5. Support the development of system-level test sequences, ensuring that all testing is conducted in accordance with our quality standards.
  6. Liaise with subsystem teams to ensure that design proposals take into account existing design constraints.
  7. Support the adoption of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) within our company's System Engineering domain.
  8. Support safety, security, and reliability aspects of projects, working closely with our customer working groups as required.

Requirements:

  1. Tools: DOORS, or other SysML tools.
  2. Skills:
  3. Ability to perform requirements analysis and trade off studies to flow down requirements to seeker sub-assemblies, firmware, and software.
  4. Experience in systems engineering, with a strong understanding of system requirements and architecture.
  5. Ability to develop system architecture models and configuration control.
  6. Knowledge of RF is desirable.
  7. Ability to work as part of a fast-paced team, with a willingness to learn about our project, tools, and methods.
  8. Demonstrate persistence to get the job done.

This is an umbrella contract, the role is Inside IR35.
