Aerospace Electronics Hardware Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to join our client's team in Chelmsford. As a world leader in the development of products for the scientific and satellite / space industries, our client is looking for a talented individual to design and develop cutting-edge electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electronic PCBs and circuits that meet performance characteristics
  • Ensure quality and reliability within products and meet customer expectations
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline team to deliver projects
  • Collaborate with Technical Authorities and Product Authorities to guide development
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Strong background in Electronic Hardware design for products
  • Experience in Product-based design, development, and qualification
  • Experience of analogue circuit design (switching PSUs & signal conditioning)
  • Experience of digital circuit design (0.5GHz bus speeds)
  • Experience of designing, managing, and realising the layout of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
  • Knowledge of how to provision hardware for FPGAs and DSPs
  • Ability to create clear, concise, maintainable, and verifiable technical specifications, APIs, interface specifications, and integration guides
  • Ideal degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, lEng, CEng, or equivalent in experience
