The ideal candidate will have previous experience in commissioning, maintenance, and installation of machinery and possess a recognised engineering qualification. They will also have a positive and supportive approach to customer engagement and be comfortable with travel, including some overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain advanced complex machinery at customer sites, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Diagnose Electrical and Mechanical Problems: Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical problems with machinery, using your knowledge of circuit diagrams and mechanical engineering principles.
- Sales Opportunities: Identify and assist in sales opportunities such as new contracts, contract renewals, and spare parts sales.
- Field Training: Provide field training as required to customers on the use and maintenance of equipment.
- Factory-Based Support: Provide factory-based support when not with customers, working closely with the development team to improve equipment and resolve technical issues.
- A recognised engineering qualification.
- Previous experience in commissioning, maintenance, and installation of machinery.
- A positive and supportive approach to customer engagement.
- The ability to read circuit diagrams and possess core expertise in mechanical and electrical engineering.
- A valid driving licence and willingness to travel, including some overnight stays.
As a Site Installation and Maintenance Specialist, you can expect a competitive salary, company vehicle, bonus, and benefits package. Please note that commutable areas include Leicester, Rugby, Coventry, Nuneaton, Loughborough, and Lutterworth. The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
