Solar Plant Engineer Opportunity
At Astute People, we are seeking a skilled Solar Plant Engineer to join our team in Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on solar farms and contribute to the growth of renewable energy.

We offer a competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum, including overtime and on-call rota allowance for one weekend in five. You will also receive a company van and fuel card, private health insurance, and 25 days' annual leave.

This role involves taking primary responsibility for solar plant performance, optimising site conditions, and maintaining equipment availability. Key responsibilities include performing pre-planned and reactive maintenance works, resolving work tickets, and liaising with internal and external teams. A City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Engineering is required, along with a full UK driving licence due to the remote nature of the sites.

A strong attention to detail is essential for this role, as well as experience in industrial or utility scale solar. If you have an industrial electrician background, that's also of interest. We're looking for someone who can provide mentoring and training to junior technicians where needed.
