We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon to join our innovative department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing a clinical service of the highest quality to patients with benign or malignant breast diseases. This will include providing a high-quality breast reconstruction service and working closely with the radiology team to deliver a one-stop diagnostic breast clinic.
The clinical team consists of three Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeons, one Associate Specialist, one Breast Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and six Specialist Nurses. The team works closely with the Plastic Surgery Team, which offers DIEP flaps reconstruction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a clinical service of the highest quality to patients with benign or malignant breast diseases.
- Provide a high-quality breast reconstruction service.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of the breast service.

Please note that this post does not include any Emergency on-call commitments. Travel between sites may be required, which will be reflected within the job plan. Administrative duties will be provided with appropriate office space, secretarial support, and networked computer facilities.
