We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Support Services Assistant at Ty Gwyn Hall, a rehabilitation and treatment service for individuals with mental health conditions.

As a Support Services Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our service users, staff, and visitors. This includes cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitors' areas.

You will also work alongside the catering team to support the chefs in preparing meals, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and assisting with deliveries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing and maintaining a good level of cleanliness
  • Completing all housekeeping documents
  • Reporting any equipment malfunctions
  • Using the appropriate cleaning equipment
  • Promoting and following government and company measures
  • Serving service users, staff, and visitors with food and beverages
  • Maintaining storage procedures and stock rotation
  • Assisting catering staff with meal preparation and cooking

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience in a similar role and environment
  • Enjoy cleaning and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
  • Be a good communicator and team player
  • Have knowledge of COSHH and HACCP

We offer a competitive hourly rate of \$13.50, including a 12.07% holiday allowance uplift, as well as a two-week paid induction, free meals and parking, and mandatory training to ensure you are fully equipped to do your job.
