We are a leading Facilities and Maintenance firm based across the UK, working with organisations in Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric works with engineers nationwide to deliver engineering excellence for our clients.

The role has been created to assist the team on site with the hard services required by the client. The ideal candidate will have a decent understanding of all trades and experience in achieving the highest standard of operation.

Job Description:
  • Role Title: Fabric Engineer
  • Location: Salisbury Square, EC4

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing the hard services team and ensuring the successful site support for all engineering requirements. This includes ensuring that Specialist Vendors service visits are completed efficiently and quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the Account Manager.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. To represent the hard services team and ensure the successful site support for all engineering requirements.
  2. Ensure that Specialist Vendors service visits are completed efficiently and quality of work has been inspected and recommendations are communicated to the Account Manager.
  3. Carry out PPM tasks and adhere to compliance guidelines statutory acts and regulations.
  4. Accurately reporting of all completed work orders, including precise recording of any critical spares/stock items used during these tasks.
  5. Expected to deliver a high level of customer focused service and participate in additional training as required.
  6. Completing the weekly reports, ensuring that significant events or activities are noted and effectively communicated to JLL FM team and the Account Manager.
  7. Actively participate and complete Health and Safety compliance activities, such as Hazard/Near Miss Reporting and regular completion of scheduled Toolbox Talks.
  8. Accountable for the compliance with JLL MEP process and procedures when undertaking all relevant work orders.
  9. Liaise with the account manager, when ordering M&E components for remedial/corrective works.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Decent understanding of all trades with experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all levels of staff.
  • Proactive in achieving the highest standard of operation.
  • Have good IT and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints.
