Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Band 5 Staff Nurse to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a renal nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our renal services.
Main Responsibilities
As a Band 5 Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a professional behavior at all times and promoting a positive image of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust
- Assessing patient care needs and developing, implementing, and evaluating plans of care
- Undertaking all nursing procedures in accordance with Trust policies and ensuring that these procedures and policies are understood and adhered to by all staff
- Contributing to the development of evidence-based guidelines and policies relating to nursing practice
- Collecting data and providing essential information in a timely and accurate manner when requested for audits or monitoring
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values
- First Level Registration
- Evidence of recent and ongoing professional development
- Post-registration experience working in an acute hospital setting
- Awareness of current professional nursing issues
- Demonstrates sound knowledge of infection control standards
- Demonstrates understanding of the importance of audit/quality
