Project Estimator

At Tilbury Douglas, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Project Estimator to join our Infrastructure - Water North Business unit. As a key member of our bid team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring competitive bids and delivering high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the bid team to develop and manage bids for infrastructure projects
- Utilize construction knowledge and commercial experience to identify and mitigate risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and present tender documents, including risk registers and value engineering reports
- Work closely with the project team to ensure smooth project delivery
- Proven experience in bid management and estimating
- Strong understanding of construction methods and materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software
