The Volatility research team at Man Group is responsible for developing high Sharpe strategies across multiple asset classes. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and well-developed practical skills in volatility trading and modelling.


Job Responsibilities



  • Developing and implementing automated volatility trading strategies
  • Presenting research within Man Group and across the industry
  • Collaborating with other research teams to contribute to the company's overall research effort
  • Staying up-to-date with industry and academic literature to identify opportunities for innovation

Requirements



  • Strong academic record and a degree with high mathematical, statistical and computing content
  • Understanding of financial markets and structures
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in volatility trading and modelling
  • Strong Python programming ability and experience with relevant tools and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Benefits


Man Group offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
