About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director Associate to join our team at NHS Greater Manchester Integrated Care. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and contribute to the development of our clinical and care professional leadership principles, working closely with other clinical and care professional leads to implement these principles in the locality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic development of services, working with managerial, political, and clinical and care professional leaders across the whole ICS, supporting the delivery of the quadruple aim while keeping quality and safety at the heart of everything we do.
  • Provide system leadership for the clinical and professional workforce in the locality, including the development of locality clinical and professional forums.
  • Line management of the employed GP clinical lead workforce.
  • Engage, build, and develop wider clinical networks with Primary Care Networks, and across the health and social care system.
  • Represent the locality in Greater Manchester.
Requirements
  • Qualified Doctor working within the place.
  • GMC registered.
  • Experience in a clinical role within the place.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of NHS Health and Care services at a National, Regional, and local level.
  • Experience of working at a Senior level within the NHS and considerable senior experience of leading in integrated health and care settings.
