About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in Launceston Superstore. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring high standards of presentation and customer safety.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling customer payments and operating the till system.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and stock management activities, maintaining a high level of product knowledge and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Contribute to the achievement of sales targets and customer satisfaction goals, identifying opportunities to improve customer engagement and loyalty.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to operate a cash handling system and process transactions accurately.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
