About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Finance Leader to join our team at Recruitment South East. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the financial future of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, manage budgeting and forecasting processes, and provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including revenue accounting, financial and management accounting, cash flow management, and payroll.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and manage relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors and tax advisors.
  • Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing finance team, provide mentorship and guidance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Operations and Commercial teams to provide financial support, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive business growth.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in a similar role within an SME, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software, preferably Xero.
