Prospero Teaching is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Sports Coach to work at a thriving primary school in Macclesfield. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled coach to contribute to the academic and personal growth of students.

About the Role
  • Offer individualised support to a child requiring additional help.
  • Organise and lead fun and interactive sessions for small groups and individuals.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive support to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
  2. Develop and teach engaging lessons in key subjects like Phonics, Reading, Maths, and Writing.
  3. Work closely with students to foster social and emotional skills.
  4. Design and prepare stimulating learning materials and resources.
  5. Track student progress and document results.
  6. Participate in daily routines and administrative duties.
  7. Communicate effectively with parents and carers about student progress.
Key Requirements:
  • A strong background in UK primary education.
  • Qualifications such as Supporting in Early Years, Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Level 2) or degrees in Education Studies, Psychology, etc.
  • Recent Safeguarding and Prevent training.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply) and online update service registration.
  • Two professional references covering the last 2 years.

Estimated Salary: £37,000 per annum
