Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our factory, depot, sales team, maintenance team, transport team, and finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and profitability across all areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of all sites and departments.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, and profitability across all areas of the business.
  • Manage and mentor departmental managers to ensure effective leadership and performance management.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute business plans and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Cultivate a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the organization.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably within the engineering industry.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations is highly desirable.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 to £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a full-time on-site position.
