About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our SSEN Transmission Offshore Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a complex and challenging project portfolio, working with a talented team to deliver high-profile projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing large capital projects, ideally with knowledge of electricity networks and converter stations. You will be responsible for overseeing the integration of various projects, ensuring consistency and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Integration Management: Oversee the integration of various project and packages ensuring consistency and timely delivery of Projects to meet SSE's Large Capital Project Governance Framework requirements to progress through decision gates.
  2. Compliance & Governance: Act as a SME for Governance and Assurance capability and support project activities in compliance with internal governance requirements.
  3. Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor performance against established milestones and deliverables. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting any issues or risks that may impact project delivery.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and efficiency.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,300 - £95,000 per annum, plus car/car allowance, performance-related bonus, and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
