At Thames Water, we're dedicated to delivering life's essential services so our customers, communities, and planet can thrive. As a 3D Project Manager, you'll play a vital role in designing projects for sewage networks in the home county.

We're seeking an experienced assistant or project manager with a background in construction or utilities-based projects. Your expertise will enable you to develop cost-effective solutions for communities and oversee project success.

  • You will be responsible for establishing a proactive health, safety, and environment culture across complex and high-risk project portfolios and our service providers.
  • Your goal will be to deliver an optimized project that meets all regulatory, statutory, and internal outputs, deadlines, and targets.
  • You will ensure accountability throughout the project lifecycle, governance compliance, and internal/external stakeholder engagement to facilitate the smooth transition of project outcomes into operational business.
  • A key aspect of your role will be actively protecting, managing, and enhancing Thames Water's reputation with external customers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of the project life cycle and its communication with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing contractors to deliver project outcomes on time, cost, and quality.
  • Knowledge of the 'route to consent' strategy, highlighting program and project risks relating to required consents and considering any potential early works.

This is a full-time position based in Clearwater Court, Reading. A car and driving license are mandatory requirements.

We offer a competitive salary between £46,000 and £60,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Additionally, you'll receive:

  • 26 days holiday per year, increasing to 30 days per year, with the length of service.
  • Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
