Our maintenance division offers a comprehensive range of planned and responsive maintenance services tailored for residential properties and commercial establishments within the social housing, healthcare, and educational sectors. Job Purpose
Based within our maintenance team, this role is an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Lead. The position encompasses a variety of supervisory responsibilities while allowing you to perform multi-skilled repairs. This role is integral to our team, providing a pathway for career advancement in a supervisory capacity while remaining actively involved in skilled trades.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Conducting Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM)
- Addressing reactive maintenance issues
- Managing documentation effectively
- Facilitating site inductions
- Supervising contractors and maintenance teams
Our maintenance team is committed to delivering exceptional service in collaboration with various healthcare trusts. We provide both reactive and planned maintenance to numerous healthcare facilities, adhering to strict timelines and safety protocols to ensure the comfort and safety of all users.
Depending on your specific trade expertise, maintenance tasks may include replacing light fixtures, carpentry, plumbing, door hardware installation, painting, and general upkeep. In addition to reactive repairs, you will also engage in planned preventative maintenance activities such as temperature assessments, emergency lighting inspections, and upgrade projects to maintain a safe environment.

Required Experience
Relevant experience in building maintenance is essential, preferably within the healthcare sector or with a contractor servicing healthcare facilities. Alternatively, experience with a maintenance contractor in a commercial environment is acceptable.
You should have the capability to perform a variety of general building tasks, including carpentry, plastering, basic plumbing, and electrical work, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Above all, you should demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering top-notch maintenance services while balancing supervisory responsibilities.
