Job Title: Nuclear Process Engineer for Global Defence Company

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Process Engineer to join our client's team in Plymouth, supporting their clients by improving the capability, reliability and availability of their most critical assets.

This is a 12-month contract opportunity, working mostly from home. As a Nuclear Process Engineer, you will assist and support the Design Manager in delivering project scope, managing the delivery of nuclear process work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost.

Key responsibilities include managing technical aspects of nuclear process engineering packages from identification of need through to handover. You will ensure design documentation covers scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule and budget.

In addition, you will plan for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project's technical planning process. Ensure processes and activities being managed are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.

To succeed in this role, you'll have experience in a similar position and possess the following skills:

  • A degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related discipline
  • Both process and mechanical engineering background
  • Experience in high-hazard industry, preferably in nuclear

Please note that due to security nature of this role, we can only consider those who are sole British nationals and have lived in the UK in the last 5 years, eligible for SC security clearance.
