Deputy Head Registered Vet Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team as a Deputy Head. This is a full-time opportunity with a rota that includes 1 in 5 weekends, with no out-of-hours work.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a purpose-built, well-equipped veterinary practice in the City of Bristol area.
  • You will be responsible for a wide range of nursing duties, including taking and processing blood samples, catheters, stitch-ups, dental scale and polishes, x-rays, and monitoring anaesthetics.
  • As a Deputy Head, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical coaching skills and work with a team of experienced veterinary professionals.
  • We offer a competitive salary package, including CPD funding, paid RCVS and VDS memberships, and a range of benefits.
Requirements
  • Qualified Veterinary Nurse with a strong background in small animal nursing.
  • Registered with the RCVS and in good standing.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
  • Experience as an RVN or Senior/Deputy Head Nurse is essential.
