About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Trials Specialist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new pilot project aimed at increasing representation of ethnic minority women in breast cancer clinical trials.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supporting patients with their diagnosis of breast cancer
  • Introducing patients to clinical research opportunities
  • Navigating patients to suitable clinical trials
  • Working closely with our academic team to evaluate project progress
  • Serving as a figurehead for the project and presenting its findings to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Minimum five years post-registration experience
  • Experience in a cancer-related area
  • Research and clinical trials experience
  • Good working knowledge of breast cancer and its treatment pathway

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 - £66,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive a range of benefits, including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive work environment.
