About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our team at Sodexo in Kingston Upon Thames. As a Commis Chef, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our corporate colleagues and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with senior chefs to develop and implement new menu ideas and cooking techniques.
  • Contribute to a positive and innovative kitchen culture, promoting teamwork and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
  • Professional cookery or culinary qualifications, such as a City & Guilds diploma.
  • A passion for learning and developing new skills, with a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
