Job Summary:

Sheridan Maine South is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team on a 3-month fixed-term contract basis. As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be responsible for handling the complete accounts payable process, including month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices and credits, meeting strict service level agreements.
  • Manage and execute payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Efficiently manage inboxes, ensuring timely resolution of queries and maintaining excellent communication with vendors.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounts payable, preferably within a larger organization.
  • ERP systems experience, with a strong understanding of financial software.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Spanish language skills are desirable, but not essential.
