Patient Services Coordinator

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Services Assistant to join our team at Spire Elland Hospital. As a key member of our catering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining room.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with chefs and other kitchen assistants to manage the varying needs of the kitchen.
- Ensure cleaning jobs are completed and signed for in accordance with cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Comply with all Health and Safety at Work Regulations, including COSHH.
- Take orders and serve in the staff dining room, observing all dietary requirements.
- Ensure all crockery and cutlery are clean and undamaged, and wash, dry, and put away trays, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen.
- Responsible for the return to the main kitchen of all equipment as appropriate on a daily basis.
- Responsible for replenishing stock within the dining room to a designated level.
Accountabilities/Activities
- Maintain a professional, courteous manner and image at all times.
- Proactively manage colleague queries/concerns, ensuring a positive outcome.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Data Protection Act, and other legislative and operational requirements.
- Comply with mandatory training.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with consultants, promoting effective communication and coordinated patient care.
