Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Project Manager to join our team at Azenta Life Sciences in Abingdon, Oxford. This is a full-time opportunity that will involve managing multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in molecular biology, genetics, genomics, and next-generation sequencing. A master's degree or PhD in life sciences is required. Experience in project management, customer communication, and teamwork is also essential.

This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will work under certified conditions and be required to travel approximately 5% of the time to selected customer sites.

  • Manage multiomics projects from receipt to post-delivery, including communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide consultation services to EMEA customers via email, teleconferences, and site visits.
  • Support the business unit in understanding market dynamics, defining winning strategies, and handling key accounts.
