Concession Merchandiser Role Overview

As a Concession Merchandiser at Claire's, you will be responsible for maintaining the visual appeal and sales performance of our concession shops within assigned routes. This role requires a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recover, replenish, and merchandise the concession shop during frequent visits to ensure a visually appealing and well-stocked store environment.
  • Validate all carton deliveries from the Distribution Center to ensure accurate and timely receipt of merchandise.
  • Implement and execute the Planogram in-line with In-Store Presentation guidelines to maintain a consistent and attractive store appearance.
  • Replenish stock from fixture storage and stockroom to ensure all products are on the sales floor, meeting customer demand and driving sales.
  • Ensure promotions and sales are in line with operational requirements, maximizing revenue and minimizing waste.
  • Organize extra stock in assigned areas, maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Process empty cards, transfers, and damages as required, maintaining accurate records and minimizing losses.
  • Check style numbers in the concession system to ensure scanning properly, maintaining accurate sales data.
  • Proactively look for and suggest improvements to sales performance, driving business growth and success.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy Concession area at all times, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Lead and train partner teams by example, demonstrating good product knowledge and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Provide regular updates to the Concessions District Sales Manager on performance, offering feedback and recommendations for areas of improvement.
