Job Summary

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer - Electrically Biased, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of key production equipment at our Coventry site. You will utilize your specialist engineering knowledge to deliver optimum plant reliability through preventative maintenance and electrical testing, including fault finding and problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for Electrical and Mechanical maintenance of plant equipment
• Undertake tasks requiring data and strong diagnostics to identify and act upon underlying root cause issues
• Support site Project and Change Initiatives as appropriate
• Coach and support the Manufacturing Technician group to develop their technical skills
• Coordinate contractors and contracts, including issuing of PTW, review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)

Requirements

• Indentured time served Engineering Apprenticeship with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Recognised Electrical (min. 17th Edition) or Mechanical Qualification, Strong Electro-Mechanical aptitude is essential
• Lean experience and control skills are ideal but not essential
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Strong team player who adopts a continuous improvement approach
• Computer literate
