Swimming Teacher: 1-2-1 / Private Lessons

Daytime sessions are limited in availability, but evening sessions from 16:00-18:00 are available and in high demand on a termly basis.

Are you a qualified swimming teacher with a passion for teaching a diverse range of students? Do you have a STA Award or Certificate or a Swim England Level 2 Qualification in Teaching Swimming?

If so, we want to hear from you As a Swimming Teacher at Fusion Lifestyle, you will have the opportunity to teach swimming to people of all ages and abilities, and help them reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lesson plans and a comprehensive scheme of work that meets the requirements of the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.
  • Deliver sessions according to the programme timetable, ensuring classes start and finish on time.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers and potential customers, putting people at ease with a 'can-do' attitude.
  • Comply with the Swim England Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct at all times, and ensure all child-safeguarding concerns are referred in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Deliver lessons safely and effectively, to a standard that complies with regulations and guidance.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve our swim lesson programme and better our service to swimmers and customers.
