Family Care Assistant

The role of a Family Care Assistant is to provide support to a busy family with six children. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with social support, organisation, meal preparation, and heavy household chores.
This is a part-time position, requiring 7 hours of work per week, spread across 3 days. However, due to health issues, the family may require additional support on some days.
The Family Care Assistant will need to be flexible and able to divide their time between self-care and supporting the family. A good understanding of the challenges of balancing family life is essential.
The role requires someone who can work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and a willingness to learn.
Salary: £18.30 per hour. Paid annual leave: 5.6 weeks/year (pro rata). DBS required; arranged by the employer.
