Senior Architectural Designer Opportunity

Bigblue is seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Designer to lead Commercial D&B projects in Central London.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and technically skilled Senior Architectural Designer with a passion for Commercial D&B projects. As a Senior Architectural Designer, you will take the lead in designing high-quality, sustainable commercial spaces. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders, managing projects from concept through to completion, with a focus on delivering exceptional design solutions within tight deadlines and wide-ranging budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of Commercial D&B projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes from concept to completion.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and consultants to deliver innovative and sustainable designs.
  • Prepare and oversee technical drawings, design documentation, and presentations using Revit.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, fostering a collaborative and creative team environment.
  • Conduct site visits, coordinating with contractors to ensure design integrity during the construction phase.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in leading Commercial D&B projects within the UK market.
  • Proficient in Revit, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your technical and design skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the entire design and construction process, from initial briefing to final delivery.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing client relationships and design teams.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A passion for sustainable design, with experience incorporating BREEAM, WELL, or other environmental accreditations.
