We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cover teacher to join our team at a leading independent special school in Camden. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching children with social, emotional and mental health needs and be able to deliver high-quality education in a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and assess work for pupils with SEMH needs
- Work with teaching assistants to ensure support is both appropriate and effective
- Contribute to the setting of targets for children
- Work alongside other professionals in the wider support network
- Liaise with parents and carers
- Full QTS
- Previous experience teaching children/young learners with SEMH needs
- Availability for 3 days/week
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
