This is an external vacancy for East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

Salary Information

NJC SCP 11 £27,269 per year. This salary will be pro-rata for term time only working.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will promote positive attitudes towards regular school attendance on the part of pupils and their parents/carers.
  • They will improve levels of pupil and student attendance and engagement.
  • Closely work with the Local Authority to fulfill its obligations under all relevant legislation.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Apply effective intervention strategies to ensure high levels of attendance and punctuality of pupils within the school.
  2. Oversee the arrangement of alternative provision and/or home tuition and the attendance and wellbeing of pupils accessing alternative provision and/or home tuition.
  3. Evaluate pupils' safety and welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life and alternative provision where appropriate.
